​하나뿐인 우리의 행성인 '지구'.

지구를 위해 지속가능하고 윤리적인 소비로 환경 보호를 할 수 있다면 얼마나 좋을까?

초등학교때 한창 유행했던 '아나바다'-아껴쓰고 나눠스고 바꿔쓰고 다시쓰자. 우주산업에 종사하는 일원으로 동참하게 된 가장 계기는 '우주 기술을 이용하여 지구상의 모든 생물에게 도움이 되자'라는 회사 슬로건이 와닿았기 때문이다. 새로운 물건을 만들기 위해 쓰이는 방대한 에너지, 쓰다 질리면 쉽게 쓰레기통에 버려지는 자원들을 보며, 예쁘고 튼튼하게 잘 만들어진 좋은 물건을 잘 아껴서 다음에 꼭 필요한 분들과 나누다보면 내가 실천할 수 있는 가장 가까운 환경 보호 활동을 하고 있는게 아닐까 생각해보았다. 로켓이 우주 밖으로 쏘아올려져 지구 궤도에 인공위성을 배치하는 장면을 보면서 나도 집에서 더 이상 쓰지 않는 물건, 함께 나눠쓰고 싶은 물건들을 주말마다 하나씩 drop하면 어떨까 생각했다.
